HOW TO INSTALL CUSTOM ROM IN MIRCOMAX CANVAS HD

INSTRUCTIONS

1. - Download the ROM you want and copy it to your sdcard. 
2. - Shutdown the phone completely. Now enter the recovery. Both Vol Keys + Power. You will 
      have an option to choose either Recovery mode or Factory mode. Now press Vol up to 
      enter Recovery. 
3. - If you are entering the recovery for the first time, Make sure that you have a Backup of your 
      perfectly working firmware. It will take sometime. The backup will be placed in the 
      sdcard/clockworkmod/ folder. Clockworkmod > Backup and Restore > Backup. 
4. - After making the backup, There is  a bug in clockworkmod 6.0.3.0. The /system folder 
       cannot be mounted or unmounted. So do not install a ROM immediately after making a 
       backup. Reboot the Recovery. Clockworkmod > Advanced > Reboot Recovery. 
5. - Now clear the following
       wipe data/factory reset.
       wipe Dalvik Cache.
       format /system
6. - Now  to install the rom install .zip from sdcard > Select the ROM.


Congratzzz now you can install any Rom that you find useful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOW TO ROOT MICROMAX CANVAS HD WITHOUT FLASH TOOL

REQUIREMENTS

1.Install the USB drivers  here

2.Enable USB Debugging

INSTRUCTIONS

1.First you need to download "motochopper by djrbliss" on your PC.  download
2.Extract the archive anywhere.
3.For Windows users, you need to install the latest USB drivers available for your phone. You  

   can easily do it by installing pdaNet or Moborobo on your PC and connecting your phone as 

   per asked by the program. If pdaNet doesnt worked out, you can try Moborobo.

4.Enable USB Debugging mode on your device.
5.For Windows users, execute the "run.bat" inside the contents of the extracted archive. Be 

   sure to run it as admin. For Linux or OS X users, execute ./run.sh via terminal window.

For device runing on  4.2.1 

It has been confirmed to work on the stock firmware. In Android 4.2, developer tools will be hidden by default. You will have to enable it to use it. 
Settings > About Phone > Build Number > Tap 7 Times and you're a developer too

HOW TO INSTALL CWM RECOVERY IN MICROMAX CANVAS HD

In this post i am gonna show you how to install CWM recovery in your Micromax A1116 Canvas HD

REQUIREMENTS

1.Root and MOBILE UNCLE TOOLS APP(if u want to flash through Mobile)
2.Sp Flash Tool(If u want to flash it From PC)

INSTRUCTIONS VIA PHONE

1.Download the recovery and Put it in root of your SDCARD
2.Open Mobile uncle tools and select Recovery Update
3.Flash recovery-cwm-6.0.3.0.img file
4.Done 

INSTRUCTION VIA PC

1. Install drivers for your phone using Micromax drivers.
2. Extract the Stock ROM folder and replace recovery.img with cwm recovery.
3. Extract and open the SP Flash Tools.
4. In SP Flash Tools, click on Scatter-Loading and the program will ask you the location of the scatter loading file for your device select mt6589 scatter file.txt
5.Check only recovery.img, preloader and uncheck all others.
6. Switch off your phone (Remove the battery to make sure it is switched off).
7. In Flash Tool, go to Options and Click USB Mode so that it is enabled. Click options again and then go to DA Download All > Speed and finally select High Speed. 
8. Click the Download option (present on the right of Firmware
> Upgrade option) and the flash tool will start looking for your phone.
9. Connect your phone now. The Flash Tool will start the flashing process, the progress of which can be viewed from a yellow progress bar at the bottom of the flash tool.
10. After the process completes, a green ring will appear on your device signalling that the process was successful.
11.Disconnect your phone.

HOW TO ROOT MICROMAX CANVAS HD

In this post i will be showing you how to root Micromax  A116 Canvas HD

REQUIREMENTS

1.About 70% battery power
2.Enable USB Debugging
3.You must have CWM Recovery installed in your phone
4.Install the drivers for your phone here

INSTRUCTIONS

1.Download SU Package & SU Bin and copy them to your SD card
2.Now enter in recovery mode by pressing Volume Up + Power Button select recovery
   mode.Use volume up and down to navigate and power button select
3.Now do the following
   wipe data/factory reset
   wipe cache partition 
   wipe dalvik cache
4.Now go to main menu and select install zip from sd card and install superuser.zip and  
   then install su-bin.zip
5.After that go to main menu and select reboot system now
