HOW TO INCREASE INTERNAL MEMORY OF GALAXY Y





Galaxy Y has a poor RAM and low internal memory so in this post we will show you how to increase its internal memory




INSTRUCTIONS

1.First of all you have to root your Galaxy Y
   here


2.Partition Your Memory Card Into two.



  • MiniTool Partition, tool here
  • Partition Your SD card into two sections

Partition 1:
Label: Android-SD
File System: FAT
Partition Size(in MB): 1536 MB (1.5GB for 2GB SD Cards) or 836MB (for 1GB SD Cards)
( for Cards above 2GB, deduct 1 GB for the second partition)

Partition 2:
Label: Android-EXT(EXT Number): Ex. Android-EXT2/EXT3 or EXT4
File System: EXT3

For EXT partition it is advisable to keep the size limited to 1 GB for all SD cards above 4GB


Link2SD


  • Install link2sd from playstore
  • Open Link2sd. It will ask the Second partition of your SD card. Select the second partition that you have made.
  • Now it will ask you you to restart. You can do it now or its better to check the current memory info from Menu--> Storage Info.
  • Now Restart.  
  • Open Link2SD and filter Applist to show only User Apps by tapping on the funnel icon and then select User.


How to move An App To Second Partition

 Now in order to move an app to sd card, Select an application--> tick the following

  • Link application file (the .apk file itself)
  • Link dalvik-cache file
  • Link library file (if an app have lib files)

How to Uninstall Bloatwares

  • In order to uninstall bloatwares, Filter the applist to show only the system apps.
  • Tap on the application and press Uninstall. It will give you a warning. Never mind, just continue.

HOW TO UNROOT GALAXY Y


I have shown you how to root Galaxy Y.In this post i am gonna show you how to unroot it.Rooting voids your warrranty but you can get back your warranty once you have unrooted it.Follow the steps below to unroot your device


Download Unroot file


INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Copy the downloaded  file into your SD card. Turn off phone. 
  2. Press & hold (Power + Volume Up + Home) keys & only let go of it when the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos logo appears.
  3.  Now you enter recovery mode. Select the file unroot.zip from SD card.
  4. Confirm you selection by saying Yes to the process. This may take few minutes to finish the process.

Congratzzzz you have successfully unrooted your Samsung Galaxy !!!!!!!!!!!

HOW TO INSTALL JELLYBEAN ROM ON GALAXY Y


Warning

  • Create back-up of all your data
  • Phone should possess atleast 65% battery life left
  • We aren't responsible for any problems with your device, Do this at your own risk.
  • Rooting Voids Warranty


INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Before Starting Root Your device and Install CWM Recovery- here
  2. Download the JellyBlast Rom
  3. Copy the downloaded Rom file to your SD card.
  4. Disconnect device from PC.
  5. Boot into Recovery Mode-( Press Home+Volume Up+Power buttons)
  6.  Use home button to select and Volume buttons to navigate.
  7. Wipe out the following  [ wipe format, wipe system, wipe data, wipe boot, wipe dalvick, wipe cache ]
  8. Next select install zip from SD card and in the coming page select choose zip from SD card.
  9. Now select the downloaded JellyBlast.zip rom file from your SD card
  10. Now you have to wait till the process is finished. It will take some time.
  11. When Jellybean is successfully installed, you will get a confirmation.Go to main menu and select Reboot System Now, and wait for it to restart.

  1. first boot takes quite some time, be patient.

Note: If your device hangs on boot screen/welcome screen, no need to worry. Just do all these steps again after removing the battery and reloading it.


Congratzzz now your Galaxy Y is runnning on Jellyblast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ULTIMATE GUIDE TO ROOT AND INSTALL CLOCKWORKMOD ON GALAXY Y


Disclaimer:Rooting can void your warranty untill you unroot!!!!

  • Make sure that your phone have atleast 60% battery power
  • CWM can only be done after rooting

HOW TO ROOT


  1. download The Update.zip
  2. Now copy this file to your Phone's SD card.
  3. Switch  Off your device.
  4. Boot Into recovery Mode- [Press Home+Volume Up+Power Button]
  5. From the Menu Select Update from SD card
  6. Next choose copied Update.zip file from SD card.
  7. Reboot using the reboot option in Recovery options menu.
Congratzzzz! You have successfully Rooted Your Galaxy Y!


INSTALLING CLOCKWORKMOD


  1. First Root Your Phone
  2. Next Go to Google play-store to download ClockworkMod ROM manager app.
  3. Then you have to enable USB Debugging by ; Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging
  4. After doing these steps correctly, Open ROM manager app in your phone
  5. Now click the Flash ClockWorkMod Recovery. This process will download the ROM from clockworkmod you need to have Internet connection ready in your device.
  6. After clicking, you will have to choose your phone model. Select your phone model from list and it will download the ROM. Then Reboot your phone.

ULITMATE GUIDE TO ROOT SAMSUNG GALAXY Y

With these steps you can easily root your samsung galaxy Y

Make sure you have done the following

1.At least 70% charge in your battery
2.Backup all the data in your phone
3.Samsung USB drivers to be installed on the computer




INSTRUCTIONS

 Download the flashed rooting package in ZIP file just Click Here (update.zip) and save It  

 Connect your device via USB cable.

 Copy the downloaded ZIP file and paste to your device’s Memory Card's root folder.

 Disconnect your Device

 Enable USB Debugging mode,Settings >Applications > Development > USB Debugging. 

 Power off your phone.

 Reboot it into Recovery mode. You can do this by pressing and holding down the  

            Volume Up button + Home button+Power button.

 Start your device in Recovery Mode, Go To Install zip from SD card.

 Go to Choose zip from SD card and select the downloaded ZIP file  
           
  After That Process Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset then select “Wipe Cache Partition

  Then Select ++++Go Back++++ then Press Reboot System Now.

  Download and Install the Superuser Application from the Google Play
