HOW TO ROOT XPERIA P (LOCKED BOOTLOADER)

DISCLAIMER: This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.

NOTE: Your device must be running on the Android ICS or JELLYBEAN.

REQUIREMENTS

1.Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v30: [Glass Root added]

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Download and copy the Root Package archive onto your Desktop.

2. Unzip files from the archive to your Desktop.

3. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device from Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.

4. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.

5. Double-click on the RunMe.bat file you extracted earlier to your Desktop.

6. When it asks you to choose the mode, select Normal mode.

7. Select Root option in the tool and it’ll begin rooting your device.

8. Now reboot your device.

HOW TO ROOT SONY XPERIA P (UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER)

REQUIREMENTS
1.Unlocked Bootloader(you can do it from here)
2.USB Cable

INSTRUCTIONS



1. Flash the JellyBean build

2. Download and put this flashable zip (Superuser) in the root of the SD Card download

3. Flash any ICS kernel, I recommend ThP because there is a Power Off option and its easier here (And yeah, if you are asking yourself if the ICS kernel will work on JB, it wont. The phone will stuck at bootloop.) or Nemesis Kernel

4. Flash the zip and power off the device from recovery

5. Flash the JellyBean kernel. It can be found here here

6. Power on the device and Enjoy !
