The wait is finally over as the Korean giant Samsung in cooperation with intel who also a member of the Tizen alliance have sent out invites for a press event in February and its going to take place a day before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The invite didnt specify the type od device they are gonna announce but it did say Samsung will show off Tizen Os running on devices.

According to analyst Geoff Blaber of CCS Insight, Samsung has to show commercial devices at the Mobile World Congress. This would make Tizen their strong backup if Anroid takes a turn for the worse.

Back in November, 36 companies chose to back Tizen, including Panasonic, eBay, Sharp, McAfee, and Intel just to name a few.

More light will be shed on this aspect as Samsung and Intel unveils Tizen on February 23 when the event is scheduled.MWC 2014 will take place in Barcelona from February 24 to 27,So check back with us to find more about Tizen
