If you are running on cyanogenmod 10 and experiencing the GSM problem i.e the SIM card does not get detected.
then follow these instructions given below
REQUIREMENTS
1.CM10 FXP220
download
2. GAPPS
download
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Download the above files and copy them to the SD card
2. Flash the last Xperia J ICS firmware here
3. After you flash run the OS follow all the steps when everything is new
4. Shutdown your phone and enter into fastboot mode using Flash Tool
5. In Fastboot mode flash the CM10 kernel[im using the FXP 220 CM10 so i
flashed the boot.img of cm10fxp220]
6. Then disconnect the phone and turn on and repeatedly press the vol buttons.
you will enter into CWM
7. Go to install Zip from Sdcard
8. Then select the FXP220.zip and install it.
9. Then install GAPPS.zip
10.Wipe data cache
11.Reboot
Now the phone should detect your sim without any problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't work for me, I have Cyanogenmod already installed before this and it won't let me flash.
