HOW TO ROOT SAMSUNG GALAXY GRAND

REQUIREMENTS

1. Download the USB drivers from here.

2. Download Odin from download.

3. Download the CWM Recover files from download.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Enable USB Debugging. Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB Debugging
2. Turn off your phone
3.  Press the volume down button, the home button, and the power button at the same time. When you see the logo, let go of all the buttons and press the volume up button to approve the permissions asked.
4.  Connect your device to your PC via USB cable. Open ODIN
5.  Check the COM:xx (xx can be any two numbers – it stands for the Port Number of USB.
6.  Extract files from the CWM Recovery ZIP file
7.  In Odin, select PDA, navigate to where you saved the extracted file, and select.
8.  Click start, and wait.
9.  Save this file and transfer it to your SD card.
10.  Turn your phone off and restart it into recovery. Hold down the volume down button, the home button, and the power button at the same time.
11.  Select Install ZIP from SD card
12.  Select the UPDATE-SuperSU- v1.05.zip 
13. Reboot now. It should now be successfully rooted.
